Our Projects

All our projects bring unique challenges, as such we are flexible in approach preferring to respond to the individual requirements of each client and project.

Landscape, planning and ecological design

White Rake

As part of an ecological mitigation package LRM undertook the translocation of Spring Sandwort (minuartia verna), a nationally scarce plant species associated with substrates contaminated with heavy metals typically associated with lead mining in Derbyshire.  Areas of moonwort (Botrychium lunaria) a small fern and breeding habitat for the dingy skipper butterfly (Erynnis tages) were also translocated to recreate a traditional lead rake habitat. All works were undertaken within the Peak District National Park.
